Product Specialist / Analyst (Medical Devices)

Actively supporting Medical Devices distribution team in procurement and sales of medical equipment. Provide product technical support to team members and ensure product related data and documents are correct.

Key Responsibilities

Assist Procurement Manager (PM) in developing market for medical equipment distribution in KSA
Understand, study and analyze client requirements for medical equipments
Perform product inspection and ensure product adherence to technical specifications and handling requirements as per SOPs, KPIs and contractual terms and conditions
Request quotations from local & international suppliers with terms & conditions.
To do pre-purchase evaluation, to prepare tenders and technical specifications
Following & Handling any tasks provided by the Procurement Manager within the related function
Prepare sales orders
Arranges for delivery dates and notifies appropriate Supplies Department of due date
Maintain database of key accounts and develop relationship with customers in order to understand their requirements
Develop relationship with Suppliers and follow up with logistics department to coordinate delivery of goods in terms agreed
To provide the PM with accurate and timely reports.

Job Requirements

2-3 years of experience in sourcing medical devices and equipment
Degree in biomedical engineering or similar qualification
Experience of medical logistics and pharmaceutical supply chain systems
Bachelor’s degree preferably in Pharmacy, or equivalent pharmacy qualification
Valid Saudi driving license & transferable iqama

Key Competencies

Ability to communicate in English (written/verbal)
Ability to write and handle business correspondence
Native Arabic speaker preferred
Ability to develop documents conforming legal drafting and contracting framework
Strong follow up & coordination
Deadline committed
Familiarity with medical equipment terminology
Proficient in working with Microsoft word, excel and power point
